There Is Always a Lot Happening at Holy Cross
Below are a few events that we have coming up in the next few weeks.
Mark Your Calendars!
Sunday Funday! Pot luck and kickball July 28. After worship and bible study we invite the whole congregation to play or watch some kickball. Bring a friend, a chair, and a dish to share. There will be a sign up for sides, dessert, and meat (fried chicken, sloppy joes, or whatever you’d like) to share. We’ll eat and then we’ll break up into teams and play on the lawn behind the church. Join us if you’d like to play (people of any age are welcome!) or join us if you want to watch and cheer!
Dinner for Parents of Children Newborns to Teenagers Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. Come for dinner and workshop in our fellowship hall on how to keep the faith of our children a priority when you have a full schedule. Discussion led by parents and youth.
National Night Out Aug. 6 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sign up in the Narthex to help with setup, cook hot dogs and visit with neighbors. It’s a great way for us to join together as a church family too. Come join in the fun!
Men’s Bible Breakfast Sept. 7 at 8 a.m. Start your weekend with a hearty breakfast and God’s word. Open to men of all ages. Invite your family and friends to join you.
Outdoor Service and Picnic Sept. 8 at 10:30 a.m. This event is a great way to bring someone to church that may not have a church home since it is a relaxed setting. There will be great food, bean bags, and fellowship!
Prince of Peace Preschool is now registering for the 2024-2025 school year. Pick up a registration or find it online at www.princeofpeacels.org. Kim Essington, 320-251-8416, is available for tours at all three locations.
